I bought the 40lb bow for my birthday from the really nice and approachable guys from The Longbow Shop.
For it's price it's hard to believe the quality and finish. Its so addictive to shoot. I've adjusted the brace height to 7.5inches added a pair of beaver puffs silencers, a traditional hair rest and silent plate, re served it with BCY Halo with a Red Nock Point Tying Thread. Compared to a traditional flat or long bow the end product from drawing it back to releasing an arrow is with no exaggeration the best feed back I've had from any bow I have used. The sight window is perfect. The bow is feather light with a lovely ergonomic riser which makes it a joy to handle. With my first grouping of 9 arrows at 20 feet using (5/16 P.O.C with 100g History points and Gateway Feathers - Right Wing - 3" Parabolic) it was the size of my fist, and I haven't got shovel hands. With my second grouping I 'Robin Hooded' a pair of arrows. This bow is amazing. I am so accurate with it, it's untrue.
If you're thinking of taking up archery and don't want to break the bank with a flashy all singing and all dancing bow this is the bow and pretty much the only bow for you. It looks lovely and shoots even better.
