I especially large hands so when I ordered this glove in XL I crossed my fingers and hoped that the usual German standard for things being the size they say was going to be upheld and I was not disappointed. I need an all weather glove so the very first thing I did was get it soaking wet and then went out to shoot with it, very impressive, the leather does not stretch or distort a great deal and if anything wearing the glove wet for a few hours accelerated the break-in period and within a couple of days it was extremely comfortable and felt like a natural extension of my skin. The thick fingers take a bit of getting used to if you are coming straight from a tab but the comfort is remarkable. The only peculiar thing about these gloves is that the brown colour wears off, especially when wet, and you are left with a much lighter coloured glove, personally I think it looks better but just a thought in case you are especially keen on all your gear matching. I'm only writing this review because I've just popped back to this site to order a glove for my daughter and a spare for me.
